Botkin Chiarello Calaf is pleased to announce that Gerard Bifulco has joined our growing commercial and intellectual property litigation teams as a partner.

Gerard has represented corporate entities and individuals throughout the country. He has handled matters at the trial and appellate levels, including arguing and winning a case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. His experience also includes representing clients in intellectual property, employment, constitutional, administrative, real estate, and banking law matters.

“Gerard is an excellent litigator with a client-first approach,” says Katherine Chiarello, the firm’s managing partner. “He has both the breadth and depth of experience that will immediately make him a power player on the BCC team.”

Before moving to Texas, Gerard practiced at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and Chaffetz Lindsey LLP in New York City. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Orinda D. Evans, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the Honorable Catharina Haynes, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Gerard earned his law degree with highest honors from Emory University School of Law. He has been recognized by the peer-selected Rising Stars, published by Thomson Reuters, in Texas and New York.
