Experience
Christine Roseveare is an experienced appellate attorney who assists trial counsel with analysis and briefing of complex legal issues, coordinates error preservation efforts at the trial level, and handles all aspects of matters on appeal in both state and federal courts. Christy has briefed and argued appeals on all manner of substantive issues, from First Amendment challenges to mandatory public-school uniforms to interpretation of the discrete contractual provisions on which substantial business disputes so often turn. Christy has successfully presented oral argument to courts of appeals across Texas, as well as to the Texas Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Her clients have covered a broad spectrum as well, from governmental entities and large corporations to small businesses and individuals.
After law school, Christy served as a law clerk for the Honorable H. Emory Widener, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She then spent 16 years honing her skills as an appellate attorney in the Dallas office of Strasburger & Price, later known as Clark Hill, before joining Botkin Chiarello Calaf.
A mother of three and a passionate lifelong learner, Christy spends much of her time away from the office with her family, pursuing creative interests, including photography, pottery, and gardening.
